Designed whilst working for Telewest, the sites purpose was two-fold.
Firstly the site was a experiment for myself into CSS (cascading style sheets) and DIV layouts. Instead of trying to ingrate existing work, I decided to build something with a specific aim in place,
to help and educate both my existing / future clients and myself.
Secondly to produce an external site that could be accessed by my clients in different locations (Telewests' intranet site wasn't capable at the time), using password protection.
The site was a quick and easy way of keeping track of jobs and updates to work when feedback was received. Originally intended for use at Telewest, I still find the ease of use and information held within it
invaluable, proving that a simplist layout for data, can be both functional and aestetically pleasing.
